IMPORTANT NOTICE

PERSON OF INDIAN ORIGIN, HIS/HER SPOUSE AND DEPENDANT CHILDREN SHOULD APPLY FOR "ENTRY" VISA type "XV" ( NOT TOURIST VISA ).

SIX MONTHS : NZ$ 185.00 ( New Zealand passport )
ONE YEAR : NZ$ 275.00 ( New Zealand passport )
FIVE YEARS : NZ$ 455.00 ( New Zealand passport )

Nationals of all countries (except from Nepal and Bhutan) require visa to travel to India. Visa processing time varies depending upon the nationality/origin of the visa applicant. Tourist Visa can be granted for up to six months (Maximum).
There is not time limit to issue visa of Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh National/Origin. please do not make firm booking prior to obtaining visa.
Visa is not a right. Visa can be denied without assigning any reason.
Visa fee is processing charges. Once received it can not be refunded under any circumstances, even if in case of visa is denied or visa is granted for a shorter period than applied for.

The Processing time indicated below is subject to completion of all formalities.
NOTICE : A gap of two months is mandatory between two visits on Tourist visas. 25.	Student visa is issued for 6 months to 5 years according to duration of course with the fee of NZ$ 175.00 for New Zealand national and NZ$ 195.00 for non-NZ nationals.
